We, Karen Woodhouse and
Jane Hodgson, opened
Food for Thought in
April 2006. Friends for
many years, we set up
Veg in a Box, a
vegetable box delivery
scheme serving the local
Buchan area, in 2000.

It grew from strength to
strength and we realised
that there was a need for a
supplier of good quality
foodstuffs that could not be
bought locally so we decided
to expand our business and
due to our love of good
food, decided to open the
deli along with a
greengrocers selling fresh
vegetables from local
suppliers.
The shop aims to supply an
extensive range of both
locally produced and
internationally sourced
items including fresh fruit
and vegetables, over 30
different cheeses, a range
of charcuterie, olives and
anti-pasti, fresh meat,
preserves, confectionary,
wines and Scottish Ales. |
