In August 2000 we started a vegetable box delivery service with a core customer base of six, all good friends who agreed to be guinea pigs!

Eleven years on, Veg in a Box now serves an ever increasing area from Ellon to Peterhead to the Bridge of Don, including most of the villages in between.
How it works

Each week we carefully select a seasonal choice of fresh, local vegetables and make up boxes in three different sizes depending on the amount of vegetables you require.

• Small box: £8.00 contains at least eight different vegetables
• Standard box: £10.50 contains up to nine different vegetables in a larger quantity
• Large box: £13.00 contains up to twelve different vegetables in a larger quantity

There are certain times of the year when we have to buy in vegetables from further afield but we always ensure they are of excellent quality.

Deliveries are made on Thursday and Friday each week depending on which area you are in. We ask that you save your empty box for us to collect the following week as we like to recycle them. Of course, you do not have to take a box each week… you can have a box on a fortnightly or monthly basis if you require. We are very flexible!

Payment can be made by cash or cheque on delivery , or you can call the shop and make a card payment over the phone.
